News Correspondent for La Voce Nuova di Rovigo

​Since March 2016,I've been working as a news correspondent for the daily newspaper La Voce Nuova di Rovigo, writing articles, following events and interviewing personalities.

 

 

Translator

Boulevard Books, an American publishing house, has published my translations from English to Italian of three books, written by two Italian authors:

• Dynasty of Light (July 2016), the first novel of a fantasy trilogy written by Iris Vignola;

• 17/07/2017: The Fall of the Gods (December 2016), science-fiction novel written by Claudio Bizzi, nom de plume Horion Enky;

• Into the Fantastic World of Fairy Tales (January 2017), a collection of fairy tales written by Iris Vignola.  ​

 

 

Cooperation with Scuola Holden

​2014 - 2016

 

I participated to PickUp, a project we realized during "La Repubblica delle Idee" that took place in Genova (June4-7 '15). I was responsible for capturing quotes, dates, keywords and important concepts mentioned during the conferences that composed the event. With other colleagues I created a real time document that could be downloaded and used by those who wanted to enhance the experience.

 

I repeated the PickUp experience during the Fourth Bicocca's Intercultural Day, "Building Bridges", organized by University of Milano-Bicocca in partnership with BMW Group (May 26 2016).

 

I have been Production Manager (among my tasks I was responsible for all the organisational aspects of production scheduling and budgeting; I had to ensure that productions ran smoothly, we met deadlines, and stayed within budgets; the control of our campaign of crowdfunding on Indiegogo) for the short film "Cambio di Stagione", shot under the supervision of Italian film director Marco Ponti and with the participation of Lorenza Indovina.

 

With other students, I also documented the finale of the screenwriter contest Melt-a-Plot, produced by Tempesta and Rai Cinema.​

I worked for the office of Interlibrary Services at Arturo Frinzi central library (University of Verona), helping the users to browse both Italian and foreign catalogues, handling the reservation and delivery of books, assisting them in the research of particularly requested volumes in libraries located both in Italy and abroad.
